We verify that a shop exists and that its published contact details are consistent across its own website, its official social page and mapping services. What we cannot verify for you is workmanship — no directory can. Before you commit, ask the shop three things: what grade of part they will fit, how long the warranty runs, and whether the warranty is void if the phone is opened elsewhere. A shop that answers those clearly is usually a shop worth using.
We deliberately do not publish prices, because a quoted figure that is six months stale is worse than no figure at all. Cost depends on the model, the screen grade (original service pack, OEM or aftermarket), whether the touch digitiser and frame are damaged too, and the shop’s warranty terms. Message two or three shops from the list with your exact model and you will have a realistic range within the hour.
For common models, a screen or battery swap is usually a same-visit job measured in tens of minutes rather than days, provided the part is in stock. Water damage, motherboard microsoldering and back-glass replacement take longer because they involve cleaning, diagnosis or curing time. Always ask whether the part for your specific model is in stock before you travel.
If your device is still inside its manufacturer warranty period, an independent repair will normally void that cover for the affected component, and sometimes more broadly. If the phone is new and the fault is not accidental damage, take it to the brand’s own service centre first. Independent shops make the most sense for out-of-warranty devices, accidental damage, and models the brand no longer services.
